Representing PT Alam Karya Gemilang in Two Successful PKPU Proceedings

Satria Nararya and Salma Ariana Taruna, together with other members of the legal team, successfully represented PT Alam Karya Gemilang in two successive Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU) proceedings before the Commercial Court at the Surabaya District Court.

In Case No. 43/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2026/PN Niaga Sby, the legal team successfully defended PT Alam Karya Gemilang against a creditor-initiated PKPU petition, with the Court rejecting the application. Subsequently, in Case No. 61/Pdt.Sus-PKPU/2026/PN Niaga Sby, the legal team successfully represented the company in obtaining a voluntary PKPU order, enabling PT Alam Karya Gemilang to proceed with a court-supervised financial restructuring. The Court granted the petition and, on 10 August 2026, placed the company under Permanent PKPU for 90 days to continue negotiations toward a composition plan with its creditors.

Another successful representation where strategic legal counsel protected the client’s interests while facilitating an orderly financial restructuring and supporting long-term business continuity.
